What does MICHEM supply?
MICHEM supplies construction additives and reinforcement fibers across several product groups, including cellulose and starch ethers, redispersible polymer powders, superplasticizers, construction fibers, functional additives and pigments.
How do I choose the correct grade?
Begin with the application and target performance. Provide information such as the finished product, important performance requirements, current formulation or existing material, and any technical problem you want to solve. MICHEM can then recommend a suitable starting point for evaluation.
Can I choose a product only by viscosity or another specification value?
No. A specification value can help narrow the options, but products with similar physical data may behave differently in water retention, workability, adhesion, flexibility, flow or application stability. Final selection should be confirmed in the actual formulation.
Can MICHEM help replace a product I currently use?
Yes. Share the current product information, relevant technical data, intended application, dosage and performance requirements. A reference sample or comparative test result can also help. Product matching should be based on actual performance rather than appearance alone.

Can I request a sample before placing a commercial order?
Yes. Sample evaluation is an important part of the MICHEM selection process, especially for a new grade or new formulation.
What information should I provide when requesting a sample?
Provide the product or product family if known, intended application, target performance, current problem or reference material, destination and any important technical requirement.
How should I test a MICHEM sample?
Use your own raw materials, formulation, dosage, water level, mixing procedure and relevant test methods. Keep the test conditions consistent when comparing products.
What if the first sample does not achieve my target?
Share the formulation information and test results with MICHEM. The technical team can review product selection, dosage, formulation compatibility or another evaluation direction.

What kind of technical support does MICHEM provide?
Support may include product-grade selection, formulation evaluation, sample comparison, performance optimization, troubleshooting and product-use guidance.
What should I send for troubleshooting?
Useful information includes the product and batch, formulation and dosage, mixing conditions, test methods, observed results, photos or videos, relevant records and information about recent raw-material changes.
Can MICHEM guarantee the performance of my finished product?
Final performance depends on the customer’s raw materials, formulation, production process, service conditions and local requirements. MICHEM can provide technical recommendations and evaluation support, but customers should validate the finished formulation under actual conditions.

Where can I find Technical Data Sheets?
Use the MICHEM Technical Document Library or the dedicated TDS page. If a grade is not listed, send the exact product/grade and intended application.
Can I request an SDS?
Yes. Safety documents are product-specific. Provide the exact product or grade and destination market when possible.
Which management-system certifications does MICHEM hold?
MICHEM materials identify ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 management-system certifications.
Does ISO certification mean every MICHEM product is certified for my market?
No. Management-system certification is different from product-level certification. Product compliance depends on the grade, intended use, destination market, applicable standards and customer requirements.
Can I request batch-related quality information?
Where a purchasing or quality process requires batch-specific information, provide the exact product grade, order/project details and the type of document required. MICHEM will review what is applicable.

Does MICHEM support OEM or private-label products?
Yes. MICHEM can support projects ranging from standard grade selection and product matching to performance-oriented customization, OEM branding and customized packaging.
What information is needed for an OEM project?
Useful details include target product/category, application, destination market, performance level, reference product, technical data, expected product range, branding, packaging, quantity, schedule and market-specific labeling/documentation requirements.

What information should I provide for a quotation?
Provide the required product/grade, application, estimated quantity, destination country or port, packaging requirements, OEM requirements if applicable, expected purchasing schedule and any technical/commercial document requirements.
