Cellulose Ethers
MICHEM supplies cellulose ether products including HPMC, HEMC, HEC and CMC for dry-mix mortar, coatings and other industrial applications.
Different grades are available to support requirements such as water retention, thickening, workability, slip resistance, open time and application consistency.
Typical applications include tile adhesives, wall putty, skim coats, renders, plasters, repair mortars, self-leveling compounds and gypsum-based products.
Redispersible Polymer Powders
Our redispersible polymer powder portfolio includes multipurpose, flexible, hydrophobic and thixotropic grades.
These products are developed for different formulation objectives, including improved adhesion, flexibility, cohesion, workability, water resistance and durability.
They can be used in tile adhesives, external insulation systems, repair mortars, waterproof mortars, self-leveling compounds and other polymer-modified dry-mix products.
Concrete Admixtures and Fibers
MICHEM supplies polycarboxylate superplasticizers in flake and powder forms, together with melamine-based and naphthalene-based water-reducing agents.
Our product system also includes polypropylene fibers, engineering fibers, cellulose fibers, glass fibers and steel fibers for different mortar and concrete reinforcement requirements.
These materials help customers address formulation objectives such as water reduction, flow, crack control, toughness, dimensional stability and durability.
Functional Additives
Our functional additive portfolio includes starch ethers, hydrophobic agents, powder and liquid defoamers, gypsum retarders, calcium formate and related materials.
Although these additives are often used at relatively low dosages, they can have an important influence on production behavior, application properties and final product performance.

Before production planning begins, our team confirms the required product grade, intended application, technical expectations, order quantity and packaging requirements.
For new projects, this stage may also include sample evaluation or technical communication to ensure that the selected grade is suitable for the customer’s formulation.
Production Is Planned
Production and supply arrangements are coordinated according to confirmed order requirements. This helps align the product grade, packaging and delivery plan before the order moves into execution.
The Batch Is Produced
Products are manufactured according to the defined requirements for the confirmed grade. Relevant production conditions and product characteristics are managed throughout the process to support batch consistency.
Physical and Application Performance Is Evaluated
After production, the batch undergoes physical and application testing before shipment.
Physical testing confirms relevant product characteristics, while application testing helps evaluate how the material performs in a representative formulation or use environment.
Packaging and Shipment Are Coordinated
Once the batch has completed the required evaluation, products are prepared according to the confirmed packaging and order requirements.
Our production, customer service and supply-chain teams then coordinate the shipment for domestic or international delivery.
